Applying for Licensure as a Geotechnical Engineer:

NEW APPLICANTS

Review all applicable laws and regulations to confirm that you meet the qualifying experience requirements before you file an application with the Board.  The Geotechnical Engineer exam is administered once a year during a two-week window.  Check the Exam Schedule for the next exam window.

Applications will be accepted and are processed on a continuous basis.  There is no final filing date, however, if your application is not processed and approved by the Board 50 days prior to the first day of the scheduled exam window, you will not be scheduled for that exam window, and your application will be forwarded to the following exam window.  Approved applicants will receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) notice via email approximately 30 days prior to the first day of the exam window with instructions regarding how to register for the exam.  If you do not receive your ATT by that time, it is your responsibility to contact the Board to verify the status of your application.
